4. The difference between cold drawn seamless steel tube and hot rolled seamless steel tube is that cold drawn seamless steel tube and hot rolled seamless steel tube are different from steel plate. Seamless steel tube is divided into hot-rolled seamless steel tube and cold-drawn seamless steel tube due to its different manufacturing process. Cold drawn steel pipes are divided into round pipes and special-shaped pipes: cold drawn steel pipes generally need to be drawn multiple times, and corresponding stress relief annealing must be carried out between each drawing to ensure the smooth progress of the next cold drawing. From the outside, cold-rolled seamless steel tubes tend to have small diameters, and hot-rolled seamless steel tubes tend to have large diameters. The precision of cold-rolled seamless steel tube is higher than that of hot-rolled seamless steel tube, and the price is also higher than that of hot-rolled seamless steel tube. The diameter of cold drawn seamless pipes is generally small, most of which are below 127 mm. In particular, the outer diameter of cold drawn seamless pipes has high precision, and the length of cold drawn seamless pipes is generally shorter than that of hot rolled seamless pipes. The wall thickness of cold drawn seamless steel tube is more uniform than that of hot rolled seamless steel tube.
